Here’s what Alumni and students of KNUST are saying after it was ranked as the best in West Africa

Alumni and students of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) have been talking a lot on social media after the university was ranked as the best University in Ghana and West Africa by the U.S. News & World Report.

KNUST was also ranked 14th in Africa and 706th out of selected 1,500 best universities in the world.

The ranking now gives KNUST the bragging rights over the University of Ghana who were ranked 17th in West Africa.

Most of the KNUST’s alumni and students have been reacting to the ranking on social media with the hashtag (#KNUSTNo1InAfrica).

Judging by their posts, they are very happy that their alma mater was ranked ahead of the University of Ghana and some of them also used the opportunity to take a dig at the University of Ghana.
