Hearts of Oak MD Frederick Moore questioned by board over absence at Medeama mauling

Hearts of Oak Managing Director Frederick Moore has had to explain to the club's board why he missed Sunday's 3-0 defeat to Medeama in Tarkwa.

Moore's absence nourished suspicions of a crack with several reports of him falling out with the director.

Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM: ''It's not proper for the MD to be absent from a match like the one against Medeama.

''We have asked for explanations why he couldn't make it and from his explanations, it wasn't intentional.

''We are okay with his reasons.''

Hearts of Oak are in a mess on the pitch after losing their opening two matches to Berekum Chelsea and Medeama.
