Government has swindled newly trained teachers

We through members of the the association of newly trained teachers are highly disappointed and aggrieved at the deceptive and cruel manner the government of Ghana had been treating us since we were posted.

At a meeting held with the minister of education with a sister union the teacher trainees association of Ghana (TTAG) the Minster of education promised full payment of our feeding grant arrears which we were owed and full amount of our salary arrears at the end of March 2017 but unfortunately some of the people who were fortunate to be paid their salaries at the end of March were only paid their salary for March without the arrears as agreed not to talk about the feeding grant arrears leaving thousands of our members unpaid their merger salary nor feeding grant arrears.

We are therefore bringing this to the notice of government to pay all our outstanding salary arrears and feeding grant arrears from college as agreed and pay our members who had successfully gone through the biometric registration for their salaries to be paid. Failure to pay us will leave us no other option than to abandon the on going end of second term examination which will come with dare consequences to the assessment of our pupils.
Thank You
