Ghanaian dancehall artiste Charles Nii Armah Mensah Junior known in the music fraternity as Shatta Wale has sent a communique to Glo Mobile Ghana to reconsider their decision not to pay him $120,000 to perform at their Glo Mega Music concert.

The Zylofon signed artiste who believes his solid brand has earned him a high prestige so should also reflect in his rates for performance indirectly was sending a message to Glo Mobile Ghana regarding his successful ‘Reign’ album launch last Saturday at the Fantasy Dome.

Shatta Wale jokingly added that if the Telecommunication company does not review its decision of paying him the amount he was refused by them, he will discourage all his Shatta Movement followers to discontinue using their Glo sim.

“Glo said I wasn’t worth the money I asked them to pay me #$120,000.. But I hope they get a change of mind to sign me otherwise nothing like Glo SIM card in any shatta movement phone” Wale tweeted.

The Glo Mobile Ghana, it would be recalled, had penultimate week, assembled an array of Music and comedy stars from Nigeria, Ghana and Uganda to entertain its subscribers in Accra and environs at the Accra edition of its flagship comedy show, the Go Laffta Fest.

Releasing the list of artistes in a statement issued from its Ghana Head Office located on Spintex Road, Accra on Thursday, the company said that there will be two other subsequent concerts billed to hold between September and October where Nigeria’s biggest music export to the world and Ojuelegba songsmith, Wizkid and Tanzanian music icon, Diamond Platnumz, would join the current artistes to serenade audience at the shows.
