Every appearance Nana Akua-Addo has made on the red carpet proved to be a lesson in an unconventional manner yet a show-stopping style.

She has engraved her name in the world of fashion with matchless designs and fashion statements which got people talking throughout the year.

The Ghanaian international model was picked as the overall “Slayqueen” among the likes of Actress Zynelle Zuh, Selly Galley Fiawoo, Victoria Michaels and Second lady Samira Bawumia.

Not new to daring fashion trends, Nana Akua Addo has over the years grabbed headlines for her choice of clothes, particularly to events.

Who could have forgotten how she rocked the silver-colored dress with two ‘eagles perching’ comfortably on her shoulders to the 2019 edition of the Glitz Style Awards, the hair to toe colorful apparel with a matching face cover paired with a black skirt, long-fingered gloves and stilettos or her lion themed look to the Nivea Gala.

“Most of these fashion icons are now representing themselves through animals. Animals they feel have connections with how powerful they are. Beyoncé recently did it and it was a lion. I have done it. It is the eagle.” She was captured saying in a recent interview.

However, the infamous ‘bird dress’ she wore to the GLITZ style awards was put together by a Philipino designer, known as Cary Santiago who has been nicknamed the ‘Master Couturier’.

Mr. Santiago is an international designer whose gowns have been worn by the First Family of the Philippines, Beyonce, Fergie, Miss Universe contestants and some elites in every corner of the world.

Prices of his works are ranged between 8,000 to 10,000 dollars (55,011 Ghana cedis) and usually takes four people to create within a period of seven days.

Nana Akua Addo’s “Angelic gown” was one of the designs he displayed at the TernoCon Fashion Show in the Philipines.

The Ghanaian model has mastered the art of adding unimaginable accessories that give her look a high fashion uplift, so much so that fans always look forward to seeing what daring act she pulls off next.
