Ghanaian-born Myron Boadu has become the youngest player to ever score for the Netherlands since Ryan Babel in 2005 after netting on his debut in the Oranges’ 5-0 romping of Estonia on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old AZ Alkmaar gangling goal merchant cemented the win for Ronald Koeman’s side with a superlative strike in the 87th minute.

Boadu, who has been a target for the West African powerhouse, opted to respond to a call-up from Ronald Koeman to play for the European side.

Ghana coach Kwasi Appiah engaged the 14-goal AZ Alkmaar to choose to play for the Black Stars but he told the soft-spoken coach that he is not ready to play his side.
