Ghana Home Loans receives claim

Vanguard Life has presented a cheque for GH¢267,162 to Ghana Home Loans, a mortgage finance institution.

The amount is in respect of a home insurance policy that a client who passed away recently took with Vanguard Life.

According to Nana Darkowaa Okai, a servicing analyst with Ghana Home Loans, the money would be used to complete the house purchased by the client.

She used the opportunity to express gratitude to Vanguard Life for the fruitful working relationship they had with the company and also expressed the hope that the bond between the two companies would continue flourishing.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Vanguard Assurance, Dr Gideon Amenyedor, said the payment of the claim was in line with its core values of promptness and excellent customer service.

He stated that the company had lived up to its responsibility, an indication that it was able to stand by its policy holders in times of their need.

He said even though no one expected a tragedy to happen, there was a need to prepare for it, and that it was for this reason the Vanguard Life Policy was arranged to protect clients.
