Ghana’s education producing intelligent criminals – Rev. Opuni Frimpong

Ghanaian academic and Presbyterian Minister Rev. Dr. Kwabena Opuni Frimpong has noted that Education in Ghana is only producing intelligent criminals.

According to him, education in Ghana is now focused on Science and Technology whiles morality has been relegated to the background.

This he believes can be blamed for the corrupt society.

Rev Dr. Kwabena Opuni Frimpong was speaking on Accra-based Joy FM when he made this known.

“Somebody must tell me the philosophy behind education in this country beyond STEM. As if giving young children Science, Technology and you have solved every problem.

Tell them that education without spiritual values, we are producing intelligent criminals. So far I don’t know how many we have produced. Somebody should tell the Minister of Education that Technology alone cannot build a society,” he said.
