Friends Club 10th Anniversary Jam in NJ

Elizabeth, New Jersey -- The Friends Club of New Jersey, now a force to be reckoned with, recently
celebrated its 10th anniversary. The annual event celebrating the milestone
was an eventful one. It was under the distinguished chairmanship of Mr. &
Mrs Saka who graced the occasion.
The well attended event occurred at the usual venue; The Center and guests
saw the awesome entertaining skills exhibited by the duo heavy hitters; Lord
Ahimsa and DJ Ace.

The organization recognized the dedication of some its members and
presented them with awards.

The Chairman; Mr. Martin Oppong who has been at the helm of affairs since
its infancy took the opportunity to tell a little known history fact about
the organization and thanked the guests for the huge attendance. He also
offered his appreciation for the support of everyone over the ten year
period.

He also introduced certain personalities who were part of the first group
when the organization was formed.

The awards were presented by Maxwell Opoku of Max $ Max Inc. and Stephen
Opoku of Alpha Inc respectively.

The following members were award reciepients who have been with the
organization for ten years;

Martin Oppong(Chairman), Nana Yaw, Steve Boateng. Collins Kusi( Ahimsa),
Frank Fordjour Akwasi Asare (Dj Ace),Isaac Opoku; Victor Antwi
Boasiko(Taller): Kwadwo Annin( booger)

Other Annual Award Reciepients:

Best Player - Atta Poku, Most Improve player - Akwasi Amponsa, Most
Supportive - Nana Bonsu, Most Ready To Lend A Hand - Yaw Marfo Jr., Most
Active Participant - Seth Owusu Ansah

Also in attendance as special guests were; Chelsea FC Bronx, NY led by its
Chief Executive Officer ; Mr. Alex Kwapong,
*A Little known History Fact*

Friends Club of New Jersey has been in existence since 1990. It started
with less than 10 members and became a recognized and well established
organization in 1999. It now boasts of more than 50 members.

The annual Party that is termed; "Krabehwe" started in the basement of Mr.
Collins Kusi a.k.a DJ Lord Ahimsa (now the oldest member of the club since
1998)
