By and large, people in this area are observing the president’s orders for a partial lockdown in certain parts of the Greater Accra Region.

Kwashieman falls within the Accra Metropolitan Assembly, one of the affected zones in the Greater Accra Region.

And videos from GhanaWeb’s ‘Eyes on the Ground’ tour on the fourth day of the exercise saw streets within the area virtually empty.

With schools shut and stores closed, people were virtually in their homes and there was zero activity in the area.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Friday, March 27, imposed restrictions on movements in parts of the capital and the Ashanti Region. The orders which took effect on Monday 1:00am will be observed for two weeks straight pending any future reviews.
