Former Asante Kotoko and Aduana Stars midfielder, Richard Mpong has opined that, Elmina Sharks, currently is the most organised football club in Ghana. He said Sharks not only have fine administrative structures, they also have facilities to aid player development.

Mpong, who recently joined Elmina Sharks told FootballMadeInGhana.com in an exclusive interview that, although he signed for Central Regional club not long ago, he’s impressed with their outlook, maintaining that, other clubs have to learn from them.

“I’ve played for Medeama, Asante Kotoko and recently Aduana Stars but I haven’t seen these facilities in any of these clubs… As a player, these things always motivate you to work hard to bring success to the team” he said.

Mpong added that, he and his newly recruited colleagues will work hard to secure a top four place by the close of the 2017/18 Ghana Premier League, whose start date remains unknown because of a court injunction.

Richard Mpong urged fans of Elmina Sharks to throw their weight behind the team.
