Voting - Jasikan

At Jasikan in the Volta Region, two people were arrested at the CMB shed for possessing fake voter identity cards, Mr. Benjamin Dorkruku, Assistant Superintendent of Police in charge of Jasikan District, told the GNA.

He said the men were arrested upon a tip-off and that police were still investigating.

Voting started smoothly with long queues at all the polling stations visited by the GNA and election officials said there were adequate materials and security.
