Chief executive officer (CEO) of Ruff Town Records, Bullet, has revealed the first salary Ebony received at the start of her career.

The amount, he said, was five hundred cedis (GHC500.00).

According to Bullet, known in private life as Ricky Nana Agyeman, Ebony was super excited about the GHC500 cedis that she jubilated for days.

He said Ebony was determined not to spend that money, but to save it until it increases to a GHC1,000.

In an interview on GHONE TV, he stated ; “She was excited over that amount, very excited that she told me, ‘Boss, today me too I have GHC500’; she never wanted to spend it, but she saved until she made her first GHC1,000.00,” Bullet revealed.

The “Original90sBadgurl” since carved a niche for herself in the industry such that she begun performing at most shows and earning around GHC30,000, according to reports.

Two years down her career, Ebony worked hard to grow her brand which secured her a deal with Kasapreko. She was made a brand ambassador for Hi5 Chocomalt, a Kasapreko product which earned her a sum of $20,000 plus other benefit.

Unfortunately, she lost her life while travelling from the Brong Ahafo region to the Greater Accra region.

The young talented singer was expected to embark on a European tour to perform, beginning with Belgium's edition of Ghana Meets Naija.
