Dr. Anyah allegedly ransacks office after dismissal

Immediate past Chief Executive Officer of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital (KBTH), Dr. Felix Kwaku Anyah has reportedly ransacked his office upon his removal.

According to reports, he took everything in his office including air conditions and door locks following the termination of his contract.

On Adom FM’s anti-corruption segment, Fabewoso, show host, Kofi Adomah reported that workers at the facility are disappointed in the action of the former Korle Bu CEO.

To make matters worse, he said Dr. Ayah removed the Television bought for the Out Patients Department (ODP), fridge and even flowers meant for the conference room including furniture.

The renowned doctor has however debunked the assertions, saying the items he is accused of taking home were items he personally took to his office for aesthetic reasons and not as donations.

The former CEO responded to workers’ disappointments on Facebook, saying “I never donated my office furniture, fridge, TV, Flowers for conference room.”

He outlined the items he donated in the same post, saying “The ones [items] I donated to Korle bu was food van, motorbike, air conditions and beds”.

Dr. Anyah, who is the owner of Holy Trinity Medical Centre/Holy Trinity Spa & Health Farm was appointed in June 1, 2017.

He took over from Dr Samuel Asiamah who was the acting CEO of the hospital following the self-termination of service by Dr Gilbert Buckle.

The reasons for the termination of his appointment are not immediately known, although his contract cancellation comes in the wake of seeming waves of dismissal of CEOs of state agencies by President Akufo-Addo.
