Divorce is also a blessing - Afia Schwarzenegger

TV and radio personality Afia Schwarzenegger believes the legal dissolution of a marriage by a court is a blessing to both couples involved in the case.

The comedienne at the launch of her Leave2Live Foundation which happened this year’s Val’s Day addressing the press and attendees opined that divorce is a right decision when an abusive wife decides to walk out of marriage.

Afia Schwarzenegger who admitted marriage is a blessing quickly added that “so is a divorce”.

She argued that divorce would not have been recorded in the bible if God knew it was a curse.

The TV Africa presenter stressed that “God tells us to divorce and even shows us to divorce”.

Real name Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, she questioned the essence of a woman being under the same roof with a man who beats her each day.

She continued that the Ghanaian society treats divorce as a curse but that is false because many wives have died through abusive marriages.
