Desist from teasing or mocking losing parties - DKB

Comedian DKB urges calmness and moderation in jubilation Comedian DKB urges calmness and moderation in jubilation

Minutes after the Electoral Commissioner, Madam Charlotte Osei declared the elections and announced Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo as the President-Elect, the country has risen to a moment of gargantuan joy especially party faithfuls of the winning party, The New Patriotic Party (N.P.P).

With the ongoing jubilation, the King of GhComedy DKB has called on people of the winning party to desist from teasing or mocking those of the losing party because that can be a precursor to stir up chaos.

"Why I am saying people should desist from teasing or mocking is that, in the cause of jubilation, people may be tempted to use words which would anger those of the losing side and this could easily stir up chaos. Any post electoral violence starts from verbal provocation. So what I want to tell people is, you can jubilate, but shy away from mocking those of losing side, This is my little concern and I hope people won't take this for granted." he said.

Further enquiry into what he has been up to, showed that he is preparing for the Christmas edition of his monthly comedy show ‘comedy express’ on December 30th at the usual chop bar lounge.

Nana Akuffo Addo, was declared President Elect of the Republic of Ghana after a peaceful and transparent election held on Wednesday, December 7 2016.
