The Democratic Voice wishes to congratulate HE President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo as the newly sworn in President of the Republic of Ghana.

We hope that the perseverance shown over the years by the veteran politician, Nana Addo, has resulted in this victory, which is his 3rd attempt at the Presidency.

We will pray for the new president to bring to fore his wealth of experience on good governance to take our great nation, Ghana to another greater height.

We appreciate your victory, and the peaceful manner in which the election was conducted, marked a significant milestone in the democratic dispensation in Ghana and Africa as a whole.

The Democratic Voice extend its congratulations to all the political stakeholders, the Electoral Commission (EC) and the good people of Ghana for strengthening democracy and good governance.

We are impressed by the level of maturity and statesmanship displayed by the former President, HE John Dramani Mahama in the face of defeat. This singular step by a sitting President is very commendable and has strengthened the frontiers of democracy for all other African countries to emulate for continuous peace and prosperity.

As a group that cherishes accountable governance, we will urge the president and his government to do all within their means to fulfil all promises they made to the Ghanaian people upon which they rode to political power in order not to breach the confidence repose in them by Ghanaians.

Warm congratulations once again to the new President of the Republic of Ghana, HE Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo.

Signed:
