Dear NPP delegates, take the money but punish lazy MPs by voting them out

It is yet another 'Cocoa Season' for electoral delegates of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and as expected within the dying embers of the NPP Primaries, sitting MPs mostly are panicking.

From all indications, there is a great deal of fear and panic amongst the incumbent members of parliament as to whether they will be given another mandate by delegates or not.

It is against this background, I write to urge all NPP delegates in the impending contest on April 25th to be more discerning and punish those politicians who took them for a ride four years ago and are back to seek their endorsement for another term.

This cycle of neglect of the people and coming back to buy them when it matters most should this time around be changed.

For all these years, when the delegates have been ignored it is time to show that Lazy MP that he or she doesn't deserve any renewal of his or her mandate.

Let's give true meaning to the fear delegates mantra and show these MPs who always come every four years and do not add any value to surviving lives.

A couple of inducements are already flying around; what a good time to be a delegate to benefit from looted goodies. It is high time the status quo is changed such that elections will produce more responsible honourable men.

Vote out these lazy MPs.

God bless our Homeland Ghana.
