It appears to be a straight fight between Socrates Sarfo and Kojo Antwi on who deputises for the Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Ministry following the announcement of Member of Parliament (MP) for Evalue Jomoro-Gwira, Catherine Ablema Afeku, as the minister-designate for the ministry.

Though Catherine Afeku's nomination appears to have come with it a lot of controversy following her alleged involvement in a fraudulent act some years ago, the discussions about the ministry and the task at hand continue to revolve around who her deputy or deputies will be.

While the 'fight' for the office has in the past few days been between movie producer Socrates Sarfo and technocrat Kojo Antwi, some entertainment pundits appear to be gradually eyeing other prospective nominees with people such as Abraham Ohene Djan, Movie director and actress Juliet Asante and Marketing mogul, George Andah all being added to the pool.

With the President expected to name his deputy ministerial-designates in the coming days, Ghanaians, in anticipation, are clinging to the speculations, rumor mongering and lobbying as the days go by.

Here is a piece that captures the thoughts of Sound engineer Da' Hammer, former FIPAG PRO Michael Ola and entertainment pundit Francis Doku.
