Bill Asamoah's wife cool with 'relationship' rumours - Maame Serwaa

Kumawood teen actress Clara Benson better known as Maame Serwaa who is believed to be in a relationship with fellow Kumawood actor, Bill Asamoah has claimed the wife of the actor is cool with their friendship despite rumours suggesting they are dating.

According to her, Bill Asamoah's wife doesn’t believe in the rumours because she knows the relationship between them is a father-daughter sort of relationship.

Some time ago, it was alleged Bill Asamoah was sleeping with the young movie star after Big Akwes accused the fellow actor of secretly dating the young actress in an interview.

According to him, “Everyone in Kumawood is aware of Bill Asamoah’s relationship with Maame Serwaa” and his comment follows when Maame Serwaa in an interview with Zionfelix said Big Akwes asked her out on countless occasions.

Maame Serwaa and Bill Asamoah both denied the rumour insisting they are not secretly dating making Bill file a suit against Big Akwes to retract and apologise for the comment made about them.

Big Akwes subsequently apologised for spreading falsehood after he was sued for defamation.

Speaking on the Delay show, Maame Serwaa said the wife of Bill Asamoah treats her as her daughter and is even the one who helped her gain admission at Osei Kyeretwie Senior High School (OKESS).

“I go to his house when his wife is always around. She is like a mother to me and is the very reason I gained admission at OKESS. We always play a lot and I even tease her that her kids are my husbands and will mary them one day”, she said in an interview with Delay.

Quizzed if she has been asked out by Bill before or ever been kissed by him, she answered by saying “ Bill has never asked me out and has never kissed me too”.

According to her, she believes the rumours about them having an affair are attributed to the fact that she is always acting with him.
