Ayana & Hajj Board SAGA

Your Excellency, Indeed I am speaking as one who attempted to perform this year’s Hajj and failed. The problem is due to the failure of Hajj Board to do their part. Indeed, the operations of Hajj have become a business venture for the people who have been put in charge to make illegal money at the expense of people who toiled to travel to Mecca. Your Excellency the President should take a second look at those who have been tasked to take charge of the Hajj operations.

The issues that exist between the Hajj Board and Alhaji Ayana, should not be taken to be Ayana verses the Board rather it should be the Government verses the Board. Why should the Hajj Board allow many people to suffer in the hands of one man who has no authority? This matter in my view should not be taken lightly, it look as if those of us from the three northern regions of Ghana are not part of Ghana. If at all there is a problem should you use this as a punishment for innonsent people who have paid to perform the Hajj?

Ayana is an agent of the Hajj Board, and since the Board knew what was going on , should have been brought to the notice of the general public, but to wait until the last minute refusal of his passengers to board your plane is unfair to those of us who travel far to go to Mecca. This is sabotage for those of us coming from the three northern regions of Ghana. If not can one explains why we were denied the opportunity to travel on a free plane arranged by the Vice President. Indeed, it is sad to see non muslims selling seats to muslims. I thought there should have been a human face into this whole Saga, looking at the oldmen and women that were left to suffer in the iron hands of Hon Sorugu of Abokibi Madina Constituency, as if there were animals who voted for him. There is the need for the Government to decentralize the Hajj Operation in the country. The chairman of the Board and Hon Sorugu of Madina are enemies to those of us who come from the three northern regions of Ghana. If these people do not want us in Ghana they should tell us so that we know where to belong. Some thing must be done, to save us from this wicked people.

All delegates who are northerners in that constituency should vote against Hon Sorugu. The issue of Protocol Seats should be looked at the second time. It is very sad to see non Muslims selling Hajj seats to Muslims. These people think they are more party people then others.

Your Excellency, the President the people you put at the Hajj Board are enemies of the people, they cannot serve your interest. Get men with integrity to work for you.
