As the glorious days of Anas are coming to an abrupt end, so shall it be with that bulling traditional overlordlord

Anas Aremeyaw Anas Anas Aremeyaw Anas

"Time will tell. The evil that men do lives after them. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to laugh, and a time to cry, etc." The veracity of all these sayings and many similar others have currently become the portion of Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the one time most worshipped Ghanaian ace and award-winning investigative journalist. The mere casting of his shadow on one was more than enough to send cold chill down the spine of many a Ghana to fill their bodies with goose bumps.

However, his insatiable greed coupled with his unrestricted quest for fame and popularity has culminated in his fall from grace to grass as we speak.

He thought he was all and all intelligent, wise and mighty person in Ghana to have the police, politicians, military and you just name it, all at his beck and call.

He thought the sky was his limit so he could do whatever he liked when he wanted, with impunity. Nevertheless, little did he know that man proposes and God disposes.

He thought he could take anyone on to bring them to their knees without knowing there are some metals that are stronger than others and are able to cut across other metals – "dadie bi twa dadie mu"

When Kennedy Ohene Agyapong (Hon), a Member of Parliament for Assin Central constituency in Central region challenged his methodology of investigating his victims, accusing him of setting up, blackmailing, and extorting, people, he turned his diabolic radar on Kennedy with intent to bring him down.

He never knew that Kennedy is not a soft touch. He bit more than he could chew by turning his attention on Kennedy to destroy. Now, Anas has been revealed beyond any shred of doubt to be a big fraudster, a criminal shrouded in the cloak of investigative journalism.

It is not only Anas that is a rogue, criminal and a greedy person in Ghana who is desirous to deprive innocent poor and rich people of their money and properties. There are many such persons in Ghana who think they are the only ones that are born to live, born to lead and born to possess wealth or whatever they dream of. By resorting to criminal means in collusion with other bastards, regardless of their education, wealth and social status, to gain whatever they desire to possess, they deceptively think themselves more intelligent and wiser than others.

In the video cited in this article, courtesy to Kennedy Agyapong (Hon), could the woman judge he alludes to not be the former Chief Justice, Mrs Georgina Theodora Wood? While she was in office, on a number of occasions, I had to publish articles criticising, if not lambasting, her. While she had the mojo to sack some alleged corrupt judges, some of whom indeed rightly deserved the punishment, she was completely incapacitated when someone at her office used her name to write a letter, or she signed a letter, to interfere in an ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy case at the Mampong High Court to not only disable the judge but had the case transferred to Kumasi High Court and then reassigned the Mampong High Court judge to Bolgatanga. All these were done with the aim of tampering with justice.

Again, she could not have the audacity to tell the truth and the state or the requirements of the laws to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II when he once approached her for favour. He approached her to ask her to order a Kumasi Commercial High Court judge, one Richardson, who was then handling, or having in trial, the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute to throw away the case or make a ruling in his favour. Instead of telling him that is not done but cases are adjudged on the availability, credibility, permissibility and acceptability of the facts and evidence submitted to the court by the litigating parties, she rather advised him to go and see the judge handling the case.

On another occasion, this same traditional overlord who claims to be above the laws of the land and everybody in Ghana, ran to then President John Dramani Mahama, his "Yentie obiaa" buddy, for help to intimidate the rightful party in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute. Then President Mahama summoned the Inspector-General of Police, Mr Kudalor, to his (President's) office in the presence of the said traditional overlord. He asked the overlord to put his request to the IGP. He needed the police to intimidate the genuine party and their supporters in the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute. Was it right for John Mahama to do that?

As it is said both the hunted and the hunter will get exhausted, ("Otwen bebre, 3bofo3 nnso bebre"), this traditional overlord went to the recent past IGP David Asante-Apeatu to solicit for police to harass the same genuine party in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute. However, the IGP did not hesitate to tell him that the police are not there for chieftaincy affairs so if he has any issues, he should let the courts deal with it.

The more he goes after people seeking their assistance to molest Kumawuman people or decide the case in his favour to enable him have his criminal way in the Kumawu affairs in contrast to existing conventions, the more I write to criticise him hence the relevance of the proverb, "Otwen bebre, 3bofo3 nnso bebre"

I have credible information on COP Nathan Kofi Boakye acknowledging that he dispatched armed police personnel to Kumawu and Bodomase to intimidate the members of the rightful party in the Kumawu chieftaincy dispute with their supporters on orders by the Asante Overlord. Bollocks! Was he employed by the traditional overlord? Are the Ghana police at the beck and call of traditional chiefs? Is Ghana not a republic? Why are we allowing one traditional overlord to indirectly turn it into an 18th Century monarchy where the chiefs had the power to kill and banish people as and when they liked?

Recently, the same overlord has been able to cunningly worm himself into the hearts of the NPP apparatchik to comfortably continue with his greedy quest to exploit and repossess Kumawu contrary to the Asante or Kumawu customs and traditions. Less than ten days ago, during his mission to Accra to give a public talk, he approached three Appeal Court judges for assistance as usual. They have granted his request. I am waiting to ascertain the facts and I shall take the judges on, God willing.

All those people I have mentioned in here are luckily alive. They can come out to deny my assertions hereby made, if I am lying. They can't, because all the assertions are the gospel truth. Should those entrusted to uphold the laws and the integrity of the nation behave so irresponsibly, where is the nation heading towards? Are these rogues not calling for trouble?

As it has become the fate of Anas Aremeyaw Anas, the once prostrated to and unmatched Ghanaian investigative journalist, but now a disgraced criminal without a challenger, so shall the days of that traditional overlord with his lieutenants be, God willing.

Like Kennedy Agyapong (Hon), I shall continue to fight for justice to prevail in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy dispute despite what the politicians and the corrupt judges are doing. I shall be escalating it to the attention of some foreign media that some friends in the USA are working on. I am the friends of the poor and the needy, and the voice of the voiceless, so I shall not relent in my quest to expose anyone criminally involved in the ongoing Kumawu chieftaincy affairs.

My wife, children, brothers and sisters are not happy that I have allowed the Kumawu case to become my personal burden. Nonetheless, to them I say, I have no choice rather than to pursue the cause if what I have decided to do will bring justice and comfort to Kumawuman people in the end. Therefore, they should please bear with me and offer me their unflinching support as victory shall be ours despite the big forces teaming up against the truth.

As Anas could not live forever in his criminalities, robbing people of their wealth and property, but has now been exposed beyond redemption, so shall the days of the so-called powerful Asante overlord be. To him I say, God's time is the best and he had better learn a lesson from Anas' present fate. Did Anas ever know that he would be exposed to awash himself in shame, make him weak and finally Mr Nobody in the eyes of many a discerning Ghanaian? Never, but today that is his fate.

More grease to the elbows of Kennedy Agyapong (Hon) for digging out the hidden skeletons in Anas' cupboard. Could Kennedy turn to Kumawu to help us? This call has a spiritual or biblical intonation. In Acts 16:9 it is said, "During the night Paul had a vision of a man of Macedonia standing and begging him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” And Paul and his companions responded immediately to the invitation.

I dedicate this article to God, my Creator, for giving me the selflessness, dedication to be of service to my people and country, the ability to be the voice of the voiceless and the audacity to challenge the rogues in the country.
