Appoint Gabby as Minister for Corruption Affairs - UFP’s Kusi Poku begs Akufo-Addo

General Secretary of United Front Party (UFP) Listowel Nana Kusi Poku has pleaded with Nana Akufo-Addo to appoint Gabby Asare Otchere Darko as a Minister for Corruption.

According to him, Akufo-Addo has institutionalized corruption in Ghana and there’s, therefore, the need to appoint a Minister so people in the country can be aware of there fact that being corrupt is a legitimate course.

He made this known while speaking in an interview on Accra-based Happy FM.

While kneeling down he said “I beg the President to appoint a Minister for Corruption. This is because the President has institutionalized corruption so there is the need for a Ministry to oversee the corrupt deals in this government. I want the President to appoint Gabby Otchere Darko as the Minister for Corruption”.

The NPP government has since coming to office been embroiled in several corruption scandals, the latest of which is the galamsey scandal which has left Ghanaians worried considering the fact that the President promised to fight it “boot for boot”.
