Founder of the Awake Africa Ghana Mission, Apostle Piesie Okeyere Darko has penned down details of the role of Africa in the Bible in his book titled, “Africa in Prophecy”.

The book aims at educating the public and helping believers understand and appreciate the roles Africans played in the Holy Bible.

Speaking at the launch of the ‘Africa in Prophecy’, Apostle Piesie Okeyere Darko said he was inspired to write the book to champion the course of Africa and make Africans realise God has not neglected the continent.

“What inspired me to write this book was for me to find the place of the black people in the bible…so I began to search in the scriptures and I came out to find out that the black people have a better place in the scripture. I realize that God has a good place for us and that inspire me to champion the course of Africa for my fellow people,” he said.

Apostle Piesie Okyere Darko is a strong Africanist who founded the Awake Africa Ghana Mission, a non-political, non-governmental group established to revive and renew the spirit of Pan-Africanism across the continent and in the diaspora.

The movement has been the brainchild of Apostle Piesie Okyere Darko since 2002, while in the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
