Annan ICT Centre Court Of Governors Inaugurated

President Kufuor J. A. has inaugurated the Court of Governors of the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in Information, Communication and Technology at the Castle, in Accra.

The nine-member court is under the chairmanship of Reverend Dr Mensa Otabil, the General Overseer of the International Central Gospel Church. Other members are Professor Ansu Kyeremeh, the Director of the School of Communication Studies, University of Ghana, Dr Kwabena Duffuor, former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Professor Stephen Adei, the Director of the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Mr. Herman Chenery Hesse, Executive Chairman of Soft Tribe, Mrs. Agnes Sonful, MP for Amenfi West, Mr. Michael Zormelo, Business Executive, Najin Ussiph and Ms Dorothy Gordon, Director General of the centre.

President Kufuor charged the court to ensure that the centre was well administered to become self sufficient and serve as a catalyst to leapfrog the country’s development. Responding, Dr Otabil said they would work to justify the trust reposed in them.
