Intended Demonstration; Aggrieved Supporters Of The New Patriotic Party – Agona West

We write in respect of the above-mentioned subject, and in accordance with The Public Order Act, 1994 (491).

The Aggrieved Supporters of the New Patriotic Party wants to officially notify the Regional and Divisional Police Commands of the Central Region and Agona West Municipality respectively, of its intended demonstration scheduled for 6th March, 2017 at 7am. The intended demonstration is dubbed ‘’Yabre Egu.’’

This is to register our displeasure, disappointment and dismay about the way the NPP, especially its Member of Parliament for the Agona West constituency, Cynthia Morrison is insulting and disrespecting the good people of the Agona West Municipality.

We intend to assemble at the Agona West NPP constituency office and march through the principal streets and finally end our demonstration at the Municipal Assembly, where a petition will be given to the President through the acting Head of the Municipal Assembly.

We would be obliged if this letter is complied with and treated professionally, in order to promote the tenets of good governance and democracy.
