Achimota SHS returns to Science-Maths Quiz after poor show in 2018

The Achimota Senior High School in Accra has returned to the National Science and Maths Competition after its poor performance in 2018.

At the end of the Greater Accra Regional Competition earlier this week, Achimota SHS garnered 43 points to secure its spot in the national contest.

Three other schools from the Greater Accra Region including Ashiaman SHS qualified to compete at the national level.

At the end of the regional contest, the Nungua SHS scored 14 points; Wesley Grammar scored 26 and Ngleshie-Amanfo SHS had 31 points.

St Peter’s Senior High School won the 2018 edition of the competition and the preliminary round for 2019 is scheduled to take place in June at the University.
