An opinion poll conducted by HR Consults within Gomoa Central constituency shows that 42.6% of sampled voters intend to vote for independent parliamentary candidate Kwame Asare Obeng, also known as A Plus, in the December 7 general elections.
According to the findings of the poll, the incumbent Member of Parliament, Naana Eyiah Quansah of the New Patriotic Party, falls behind with 23.2%, while Kwame Deen Nelson of the National Democratic Congress has 15.5% of respondents in his favour.
However, 18.6% of the respondents, out of the total sample size of 542, remain undecided.
The poll, conducted in April 2024, sheds light on the sentiments of constituents, including critical issues of concern that could shape their voting decisions in the December parliamentary elections.
