...Over comments that RTI isn't priority
...RTI Coalition, CHRI shocked!

MPs, lawyers, media experts, human rights activists and civil society groups have descended hard and heavily on Majority Leader Cletus Avoka for publicly stating, without any hesitation, that the passage of the Right to Information (RTI) Bill is not a priority for Parliament.
They expressed their views in reaction to the statement in separate interviews with Public Agenda in Accra on Friday, and in press statements issued by the groups. Mr Avoka said on Joy FM on May 7 this year that "the Right to Information Bill is not a priority
