Bruce – Tagoe who was often caught ball watching.
The two under 20 years Tennis players proved that the future is
bright for the least financed sport.
The champion said she could not play her best game, but won
alright and now looking forward to international games, especially the Junior
Wimbledon.
Yvonne Bruce-Tagoe told yours truly she lost confidence after
losing the first set. She hinted that her opponent commanded the court and
there was no way she could win.
The exciting Men’s final between George Darko and Japheth
Bagerebaseh could not come to a successful end due to poor visibility as the
light at the court were not enough to beam the court.
The continuation of the game on Sunday at the same venue at 10
.00 am saw Jeff Bagerbaseh beating George Darko in an exciting game.
The Sports Minister Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankah who graced the final
called on other companies to support sports in Ghana.
