ITTF to supports Ghana Tennis Association with equipment

Accra, May 24, GNA - The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) has received assorted table tennis equipment from the International Table Ten nis Federation (ITTF) to support the development and promotion of the sport i n the country. The items include six each of STAG branded Table Tennis Tables, whee ls for Table Tennis Tables and Table Tennis Net sets. The rest include; 80 table tennis rackets, eight Gross Table Tennis

Balls, 20 pieces of T-Shirts and six Table Tennis score boards with fluorescent numbers. Information gathered from the secretariat of the GTTA by the GNA Sports reveals that the supply of equipment follows a request made by the

GTTA to the ITTF during the last Congress of the Federation in 2009. According to the information, the items have since been shipped and

will arrive in Ghana on June 9, 2010.
