No West Brom move for Mahatma Otoo

Black Stars attacker Mahatma Otoo was in full time action for Norwegian second-tier side Sogndal FF as they suffered a 3-0 defeat against FK Brann in a friendly game on Friday.

The former Hearts of Oak star, 23, who is in the Ghana squad to face Senegal and Mali in international friendlies later this month could not find the back of the net in the game though he played full throttle.

Otoo, who notched 9 league goals for the relegated side, claimed he was being pursued by English Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

But nothing material has happened since he made the claim and he is likely to remain in the Norwegian second-tier league for the coming season.
