More Information Danquah, who was born in Ghana, started his playing career at the Ajax Amsterdam academy, he then represented Dutch First Divsion sides FC Omniworld and AFC, before joining the Magpies Signed a two-year professional contract with Newcastle United in July 2008 He holds a Dutch passport, starred for the Newcastle reserves in the 2007-08 season and finshed as the team's top scorer. Danquah was called in to the Newcastle squad for their final encounter of 2007-08 against Everton, but failed to secure a place on the bench for the game. |
