Konongohene optimistic of Owerriman's qualification

Konongo (Ash), Dec. 28, GNA - Nana Batafo Acheampong Ntim II, Konongohene and founder and life patron of Owerriman Football Club has expressed optimism of the team qualifying into Division One.

His optimism is bolstered by the fact that Owerriman emerged champions in Zone Five of the Ashanti Region Second Division League. Speaking to GNA Sport at Konongo, Nana Ntim said after emerging victorious in Zone Five, nothing would stop Owerriman from qualifying to play in division one next year.

He expressed his gratitude to the management and technical handlers of the team for bringing out the best in the players for them to emerge champions in their zone.

Nana Ntim also commended the media and supporters of the club who had contributed immensely towards the achievement of the club and urged the supporters to keep up the support.

He, however, urged the supporters and sympathisers of the club to assist it both in cash and in kind to enable it perform creditably.
