Ghana Premier League champions, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, will unveil their new signings for the 2014/15 season at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on Sunday, August 31.
This event will allow the fans of the club have a feel of the new purchases and also enable the club raise revenue from gate proceeds to finance their upcoming projects and 2014/15 CAF Champions League campaign.
Asante Kotoko have, so far, confirmed the signings of three players; in the shape of goalkeeper Eric Ofori Antwi from relegated Amidaus Professionals, striker, Richard Oti from Medeama SC, and defender, Akwasi Acheampong from Wa All Stars, ahead of the new season.
Sunday’s event is will cost fans GHS 12 for the VIP, GHS 5 for the midsection area and GHS 3 for the popular stand.
This innovative measure adopted by the porcupine warriors will be the first of its kind in Ghana, as the management of the club seeks to emulate their European, American and Asian counterparts and augment their income stream.
