Bechem United to appoint Malik Jabir as technical director

Bechem United have agreed personal terms with Malik Jabir to appoint the Ghana U23 coach as technical director, GHANASoccernet.com can exclusively report. GHANASoccernet.com understands the Hunters will sign a contract with the former Asante Kotoko coach next week.

Jabir acted in a similar role for Nigerian Premier League side Kano Pillars in 2008.

Bechem want to fortify their bench for the 2014/2015 season. “Malik Jabir will not be based in Bechem but will work in collaboration with our head coach Tom Strand,” a source at the club’s secretariat told GHANASoccernet.com.

“One of his responsibilities will be to scout for players and opponents for the technical team in the league.”

Bechem United finished fifth in the just ended campaign.
