Richmond Boakye set to agree terms for Atalanta switch

Serie ‘A’ side Atalanta has sealed an agreement to have Richmond Boakye with the Ghanaian striker who is co-owned by Juventus and Genoa only left to seal his personal terms with the club.

Boakye, 21, in an attempt for regular playing time and further development, once again is heading out on loan just like in the previous two seasons since his signing for the Italian Champions - he played at Sassuolo then Elche just last season.

Juventus last week agreed to loan him to the Bergamo and is thus set to get his first taste of Serie A if personal terms are sealed in the coming days.

"I [can] confirm that Atlanta has a deal with Juventus [over Richmond Boakye]," his agent Oliver Arthur is quoted by the Italian press.

"Now the player has to discuss the terms of the contract but I think he will eventually go there,” he added.

Boakye scored 6 goals in 31 appearances for Elche during the 2013/14 season.
