‘Olympics are back to where they belong’

Striker Emmanuel Clottey says his former club Great Olympics are back to where they belong after gaining promotion to the Ghana top-flight.

Olympics beat Tema Youth 1-0 in a controversial match at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday to top zone III of the Division One League promotional playoff.

Clottey won the Ghana Premier League top scorer award in 2007 when he was playing for Olympics.

The 26-year-old says the capital side deserve to play in the Ghana top-flight. “Olympics are back to where they belong. I believe they always add some amount of quality to the league and I am looking forward to seeing them play again in the league,” Clottey told GHANASooccernet.com.

“I have my brother in there Felix Atukwei Clottey will excite the league next season, I am so sure about his qualities.”
