JE Sarpong confident bottom-side Dwarfs will survive

Ebusua Dwarfs head coach of J.E Sarpong is optimistic that his side will beat the drop this season.

Dwarfs kept their survival hopes alive after an impressive 4-1 win over second-placed Heart of Lions on Saturday.

But the outcome of Sunday’s round of matches meant the Cape-Coast based side stayed bottom of the pack.

Four matches to the end of the season, the experienced coach is brimming with confidence his side will retain their top-flight status.

“It hasn’t been easy but of course the aim is to stay up and until mathematically impossible we will give our all to ensure we beat the drop,” Sarpong told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“If you see the performance we put in against Lions over the weekend we can only remain hopeful and do our part.”

Dwarfs will look to continue their climb to safety when they travel to Berekum on Wednesday to face Chelsea.
