Ghanaian players abroad; Kevin, four others score

Kwame Karikari scored the match winner for Balikesirspor when they beat Adana Demirspor 1-0. Goalkeeper Richard Kingson played full time for Balikesirspor.

Former Hearts of Oak whizkid Torric Jebril played the first 45 minutes for 1461 Trabzon when they shared the spoils with Boluspor in a 3-3 draw. Former AshGold striker Shaibu Yakubu was not in the Trabzon team.

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom was an unused substitute by Elche FC who beat Almeria 1-0.

Mohammed Fatau was on the bench for Granada FC when they lost 2-1 to Celta de Vigo.

In the Segunda Division, Thomas Partey played 65 minutes for Real Mallorca who lost 3-1 to Sporting Gijón on Sunday.

Segunda B, Paul Quaye played full time for Espanyol II when they lost 2-1 to Llagostera.

Fatau Mohammed played the entire 90 minutes for Granada II when they won 2-1 at Almeria II.

Clifford Aboagye failed to make the Granada II squad for the game. Isaac Nana Asare played full time for Atletio Madrid II when they lost 2-1 to Toledo.

ITALY

Kwadwo Asamoah played the full 90 minutes for Juventus and helped them to condemn Inter Milan to a 3-1 loss.

Catania and Livorno shared the spoils in a 3-3 draw.

Alfred Duncan was booked in the 20th minute and he lasted the full 90 minutes but AC Milan loanee Kingsley Boateng sat on the Catania bench.

Maxwell Acosty was axed from the Chievo Verona first team when they lost 3-0 to Lazio at the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in Verona.

Raman Chibsah and Godfred Donsah both watched from the bench when Sassuolo lost 2-1 to Hellas Verona.

Torino snatched a point from AC Milan and pushed them to 10th place on the chart. Sulley Muntari started the game and lasted till the 62nd minute.

NETHERLANDS

Youngster Shadrach Eghan came off the bench to score the second goal in the 60th minute for FC Twente in their 3-1 home win over Cambuur.

Attacker Elvis Manu who is on loan from Feyenoord lasted the entire 90 minutes for Cambuur in the game.

Fred Benson also climbed off the bench subs bench to score in the 92nd minute for PEC Zwolle when they posted a 3-1 win over Roda JC.

Heracles Almelo succumbed to a 2-1 home loss to NAC Breda. Dutch-born Jeffrey Sarpong was replaced in second-half stoppage-time but Matthew Amoah was unused by Heracles while Kwame Quansah and Edwin Gyasi were both not in the Heracles team.

Christian Atsu lasted the entire duration of the game for Vitesse Arnhem when they held Feyenoord to a 1-1 stalemate at the Stadion Feijenoord.

Former Liberty Professionals youngster Eugene Nana Ansah was on the Lokeren bench when they drew 1-1 at Zulte-Waregem.

Bennard Kumordzi played 71 minutes for KRC Genk when they won 2-0 at Mechelen. Abdul Yakinu-Iddi was not in the Mechelen team.

Abraham Kudemor warmed the bench for Sporting Charleroi when they suffered a 1-0 home loss to KV Oostende.

Nana Akwasi Asare played full throttle for KAA Gent as they comfortably eased past OH Leuven 2-0.

Enock Adu Kofi lost his place in the Club Brugge first team squad when they defeated Mons 1-0 at their home grounds.

Daniel Opare played the full 90 minutes and helped his Standard Liege side to beat Cerlce Brugge 4-0.

Samuel Inkoom and Abdul Aziz Tetteh were both in full time action for Platanias as they beat PAOK 2-1 in the Greek Super League.

UAE

Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan scored the match winner for Al Ain when they beat Al Nasr to reach the final of the Emirates President Cup.
