ALFOSU rally support for Black Princesses

The All for One Supporters Union are urging all supporters’ groups and indeed all Ghanaians to join them in their numbers at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon to cheer the Black Princesses to overcome Equatorial Guinea and qualify Ghana to the 2014 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

The Black Princesses must overturn a 0-1 deficit from the first leg played in Malabo two Sundays ago to book one of Africa’s tickets to the global fiesta for girls less than twenty years of age slated for Canada 5-24 August.

The Ghana Football Association have already thrown wide open the gates, declaring a free gate for all fans who wish to be at the stadium to support the national U-20 women’s team to success against the fellow West Africans.

The Princesses are not giving up on a trip to Canada and have been training fervently in Obuasi since returning from Malabo early last week. Having arrived in Accra now ahead of the big game on Sunday, fans are also queuing up to support for the needed victory to push Ghana to Canada 2014.

Accordingly, ALFOSU members, 20 of who are currently in South Africa supporting the Black Stars at CHAN have already been notified at their weekly meeting on Thursday afternoon to gather at the Frankies’ Hotel in Nima by 1pm on Sunday for the short trip across town to the Accra Sports Stadium for the Princesses’ game.

“We are hoping the various supporters groups and all football fans will come in their numbers so we can all cheer the Black Princesses on to victory against Equatorial Guinea. They did very well winning bronze at U-17 level so we must support them to play at U-20 and hopefully they will bring the World Cup home,” said Abdul Mohammed Samadu, ALFOSU founder.
