david addy was very key in winning the under 20 world cup but never made it to the blackstars. he is one of the very few players we have who is ingenious and level headed and well educated and performing in europe and a natural left full back yet kwesi appiah is finding it difficult to call him. so far as iam concern, for the left full back position it should be david addy, kissi boateng and abdul rahman in that order. too many short players in the blackstars.

All of a sudden almost every Ghanaian player is either doing good with his club or changing clubs to boost his W/C chances in the senior national team. Even players that we've never heard of, have suddenly emerged and are being touted as potential B/Stars materials. Ghanaian journalists are at it again. They're being paid to lie on these players behalf but thank God some of us are not ignorant of their cunning moves. We all have to bare in mind that only 23 players can make it to Brazil as Ghana's representatives. Lets all put in our best to help get a 23 that'll genuinely represent mother Ghana than fabricating lies with the help of the news media.

I believe this coach is about big dreams and will not allow tribe influence his decision. I just believe he is new and lacks conviction for fear of failure.

If you come to the EPL and you are able to put up a good show, you will be the answer to the left fullback problem in the Black Stars. Majority of the goals the Black Stars concede come from the left side and it is because the current left fullback players are not skillful enough to transition from defense to attack. Without such defense to attack play the defense is constantly under pressure leading to the team conceding corner and free kicks which turn into cheap goals.

When that happens and Addy delivers I will be the first to give you credit, for your vision on soccer but not on tribal sentiments. The Fatau Dauda's situation is a typical example. Orlando Pirates saw the chances of Ghana going to the World Cup and quickly approached hungry Oboasi Gold Fields for Dauda. They knew then that after the world cup the market value of Fatau would sky rocket, especially if he is fielded and performs in the tourney.
Similar moves are now being targeted at some Black Star players and it is just the beginning; more to follow. Now we hear of Agyeman Badu, David Addy, Kwarasey etc.
Smart teams and managers should keep their player until during the World Cup or after to cash in big and to help these players get competitive leagues to play so as to further boost the strength of the Black Stars team.
