Uefa Champions League winning coach Ottmar Hitzfeld has showered praises on Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng and tagged him as the Bundesliga’s best signing of the summer.
Schalke surprisingly beat Borussia Dortmund to sign the 26-year-old enforcer from AC Milan and he has been influential in both their domestic and European campaign.
Boateng has appeared in six Bundesliga games since joining and scored three key goals for the Royal Blues.
Hitzfeld who claims AC Milan were forced to sell Boateng because of his injury record insists the midfielder is the best Bundesliga signing of the summer.
“No doubt he has been the Bundesliga best summer signing. He should find a lasting solution to the re-occurring knee injury, because he is a fantastic chap,” he said.
