Ghanaian International Kevin Prince Boateng wasted a 29th minute penalty as Borussia Dortmund beat his side Schalke 04, 3-1 at the Veltins Arena in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon.
Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang opened the scoring after 14 minutes before Nuri Sahin's 25-yard effort doubled the lead.
Max Meyer pulled one back for the home side but fellow substitute Jakub Blaszczykowski put the game beyond doubt following a superb assist from Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Kevin was making his second straight appearance for the Gelsenkirchen side after recovering from a knee injury a fortnight ago.
The defeat leaves Shalke in fifth place with 14 points whilst Dortmund are a point behind Champions Bayern Munich in second place.
