Accra Hearts of Oak hope to maintain the pressure on Premier League leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, on match day eight when Hearts play Liberty Professionals at the Accra Stadium tomorrow.
Second-placed Hearts closed the gap on Kotoko to two points following their 1-1 draw with Heart of Lions at Kpando last Sunday, with the defending champions maintaining their top position despite a shocking 1-0 loss to Bechem United.
Kotoko take on 14th-placed Berekum Chelsea with their minds set on bouncing back from their upset at the weekend against Bechem.
High-flying Lions, currently fifth on the log, mount a charge on the top-four when they travel to 15th-placed New Edubiase United at Bekwai.
Bottom-club Inter Allies will continue the search for their first points this season when they welcome Bechem United, who themselves are in high spirits after stopping Kotoko at the weekend.
Medeama SC play Amidaus Professionals at the Tarkwa T and A Park and in Cape Coast, Ebusua Dwarfs play 13th-placed King Faisal.
Wa All Stars, in 10th place, welcome 12th-placed Sekondi Hasaacas to Wa with three crucial points being at stake for the winner.
In the final match of game-week eight, Aduana Stars host unbeaten AshGold, with Aduana hoping to recover from their 4-2 defeat at the hands of Liberty at the weekend.
