Ghanaian midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng continued his fantastic form as he passed a late fitness test to feature for the Gelsinkirchen-based club in their away game with TSG Hoffenheimin which he scored.
The German-born Ghana international scored in the third minute after being set up by Maximilian Meyer in a thrilling game which ended 3-3.
Boateng had a wonderful game and proved his quality with accurate passes, speed and flair which drew applauds even from the home fans.
His return to duty is a major booster for his club Schalke as he has proven to be their livewire since joining them this summer from Milan.
The in-form midfielder will be key to Ghana's World Cup qualifier against Egypt next month. Meanwhile, Anthony Annan failed to even make it to the Schalke bench.
