Shilla Illiasu to leave Impuls FC for the right offer

Former Ghana international Shilla Illiasu says he may part ways with Impuls FC Dilijan if the right offer came before the European transfer window shuts on August 31.

The Armenian top-flight side are reluctant to release the veteran defender despite interests from top clubs in Europe.

Illiasu, 29, has been a longstanding admirer of German duo Shalk 04 and Bayer Leverkusen, with latest report linking him back to Russia, with CSKA Moscow showing interest; but Impulse FC have always shown nonchalance when it comes to negotiations, indicating that the former Kotoko and FC Saturn man remains a key figure in the team.

But Illiasu, who is hopeful of making a return to the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, says he may be forced to leave Impuls FC Dilijan if the right offers came his way.
