Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe has opened up after his rematch with Mexico’s Emanuel Navarette.

Isaac Dogboe has finally spoken after his humiliating loss to Emanuel Navarette on Saturday, March 11, 2019, in the USA.

Dogboe entered with the hope of reclaiming his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) super bantamweight strap but he failed to deliver.

The 24-year-old hard puncher was brutalized by the tall lanky Mexican.

The former Olympian was dropped twice enroute to a round 12 stoppage.

After the loss took to his Twitter handle and tweeted, “Thanks to God for the gift of life and Thanks to all my supporters and loved once, I appreciate you all. Unfortunately I came up short last night but I’m in good health no serious injuries. Will keep you updated as to what the future holds for #TeamDogboe Yours Sincerely #Neho.”

Following that back-to-back loss to Navarette, Dogboe announced he will move from the super bantamweight division to featherweight.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported how Dogboe’s father and trainer, Paul advised his son to quit boxing.

According to Paul, he wants Dogboe to say goodbye to boxing and go back to school.
