Rwanda vrs Ghana:CAF gives three channels rights

The Confederation of Africa Football Federation (CAF) has confirmed that three media houses are allowed to produce and transmit live the 2017 Africa Nations Cup Qualifier between Rwanda and Ghana scheduled to be played on Saturday at Amahoro Stadium.

The Authorized broadcasters as Right Holders:

beIN SPORTS

SUPERSPORT (who will also produce the game)

Rwanda TV as the local national TV (Terrestrial basis)

Kindly note that this is in conformity to the provisions of article 54 of the regulations of African Cup of Nation.

According to Amr Shaheen, CAF’s Marketing & TV Director, “Broadcasting and publicity rights at home, during the qualifying phase are the property of CAF. It may cede them free of charge to the associations. In this case, the associations will pay the share of CAF as fixed by the present regulations.”

“Once more, we would like to confirm that all marketing and television rights of the African Cup of Nations, Gabon 2017, will directly and exclusively be commercialized by CAF,” added Shaheen.

No other Rwandan or international media is allowed broadcast Saturday’s game.
