Ghana's assistant coach cum video analyst at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations Gerard Nus has called on the Ghana Football Association to solve issues with payment of bonuses at the Black Stars level before future tournaments.

Nus who has been to two Afcons with the Black Stars, is yet to be paid for his work at the 2017 Afcon tournament and has called on the team officials to solve such ahead of future competitions.

It has been three weeks since the tournament ended in Gabon but the Spaniard together with Jamaican fitness trainer Jamie Lawrence are yet to be remunerated.

Nus has been in Accra since and waiting on officials to pay him.

''I am still here in Ghana because some [financial] terms [of my work have not been fulfilled ],'' Nus told Prince Narkortu Teye of Goal.com.

“When you work as a human being, you expect to be paid but unfortunately at this moment, I have not been paid for the Afcon.

''That is something I’m looking forward to getting sorted out as soon as possible.”

“It seems like the economical thing is something that always there and I hope for the future it doesn’t happen.”

“It’s something I don’t like to talk about and this matters doesn’t help at all because you need every member of the team to be at their best to get results as a team.”

Nus and physical trainer Jamie Lawrence, who has since left to the UK, were the expatriates hired in a short-term basis for the tournament.
